The Bible says:
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can't take nothing out of it." (1Timothy 6:6-7)
Nick was born without limbs. I am sure that sometime in his life he thought as I did. But what gain would it be for him if he continued to live feeling sorry for himself... that wouldn't be life at all. But he made the most of what he had, and what "little he had" was actually great wealth that touches and encourages many today.
Take an honest look at what you have. Even when you think you have nothing, you may actually be in possession of great riches that you have yet to appreciate or tap into.
You may be alone in this world, but atleast you have life, you have your body and mind, and you have today. That is a good start. Invest on it. God believed in you and invested in you when Jesus died for your sins 2000 years ago. Ask Him into your life and into your circumstance, and experience the great wealth you actually have in you.
So believe now that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Don't hold back!
"It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it" (Proverbs 10:22)
